Why did ZSA set up LexLocom and how is it different from ZSA?

We have been observing with interest many emerging trends in the legal industry in other countries, particularly the US and UK where there have been significant changes in everything from billing practices to staffing and resource planning to legal process outsourcing. We have also been talking to people in Canada, in law firms and legal departments, who are likewise monitoring these changes and adopting or adapting them in various ways for the Canadian market and we have been asked to help guide them through this process, and as a result, we decided to establish a different brand – LexLocom – as a platform for dialogue and a distinct consulting service to support and implement these changes for our clients and the Canadian marketplace.

Depending on the LexLocom engagement, a senior ZSA consultant will be assigned to support the engagement, provide market insight and intelligence on staffing and recruiting, and undertake any necessary searches to identify and place suitable candidates, in accordance with ZSA’s established practice and privacy policy found at ZSA Privacy Policy.
